Celebrate the Rebuilding Exchange’s One Year Anniversary February 12th
Celebrate the Rebuilding Exchange’s first anniversary and help raise funds to support building deconstruction and reuse on February 12, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the retail warehouse, 3335 West 47th St., Chicago, Ill. The event includes a variety of diversions, including a silent auction, food, refreshments, games and prizes, and the first-ever reclaimed materials lighting fixture design competition sponsored by the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). All entries will be auctioned off the night of the fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the Rebuilding Exchange. Tax deductible donations are still being sought for the silent auction, and volunteers willing to dedicate five hours of time will be admitted to the event for free, but volunteer registrations are limited. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $30 or at the door for $35. Please visit delta-institute.org/rebuildingexchange/ for parking and registration information as well as directions to the event, or call Elise Zelechowski at (773) 847-3761.
